With 4 years of personal training experience, degrees in physiology and exercise science, certification in massage, reiki, life coaching and strength training, Andrew and his business Life Active have grown into one of the most successful training business in Surry Hills.
Andrew is an advocate of preventative health and physical activity at all stages of life, from the very young, through school and work life, all the way up to those in their 90’s. In fact, there is no age or time in life in which making healthy choices in exercise and nutrition is not possible!
Andrew has been an avid exerciser since pre-teen years, when he could be found visiting the local library to find books on bodybuilding, nutrition and exercise. Even then he had a passion for the idea of optimising one's health and fitness. (and the library/book story indicates just how long ago this was...!)
Through his own training in gyms since 1997, then later through personal training, gym instruction, one degree in biochemistry and physiology and a later one in exercise science, this passion has been able to develop into the highest standards of training for clients.
Sadly enough for Andrew - but of benefit to clients and those around him - his life revolves around exercise, eating right and making sure to live healthy (so you will rarely see him past 9pm of an evening!). Whilst being a firm advocate of health, strength and fitness for all; Andrew is also a coach who meets clients where they're at in their lives, to encourage and motivate them to reach their full potential both in and out of the weights floor.
